One day a young woman I had not treated since 1988 came in saying she wanted EMDR. She had researched the treatment well, so we moved to her issue and processed for 40 minutes. After a final relaxation, she thanked me profusely and reported that her issue was gone. Now THAT was inspiring!


EMDR dovetails with so many other treatment modalities I have trained in. I weave them into EMDR when called for. They are: Focusing, Hypnosis, Family/systemic constellations, Voice Dialogue, Gestalt, Guided Imagery, Transactional Analysis.
