Linda Meretsky, LCSW

My passion lies in the healing that takes place within the body and mind connection. I am excited about how EMDR focuses on the disturbing memories and symptoms from trauma and transforms them. Positive resources are tapped into and one’s state of being shifts to ease and calm.

I am trained and certified in a body centered psychotherapy called Hakomi, which uses mindful awareness to study the core beliefs that inform our thoughts, feelings and behaviors; as well as Somatic Experiencing, which addresses the physiology of trauma. These work well with EMDR to address developmental or other kinds of PTSD and shock traumas.
