EMDR is as Dr Van der Kolk says, a 'bizarre' therapy. However, as a therapeutic process (based on the Adaptive Information Processing Model), I have not seen anything else that enables a person to process a traumatic event to the extend where the person can live optimally again. Therefore, I am delighted and passionate about working with victims of traumatic events using EMDR therapy.
In addition to EMDR Therapy, I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy and when appropriate, Gestalt. I also have completed extensive training in communication and leadership and integrate these skills comfortably in my practice especially when working with relationship issues and More >>> performance anxiety in the workplace.
I specialize in working with adults (and young adults) who have experienced events that left them challenged by anxiety, depression or post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) and are not able to live life optimally. I also use my prior corporate experience and specialized training in communication and leadership to help clients with performance anxiety in the workplace.Close >>>
