A new client of mine came in with chronic neck pain. Years before, she had been in an accident, trapped under a boat. After two EMDR sessions, she overcame her fear of boating and also her neck pain ceased! This and other clients’ recoveries inspire my work with EMDR.

Besides my training in EMDR, I am certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and teens, trained in mindfulness and body-oriented approaches for holistic treatment, and provide training in stress reduction. I have an academic degree in Buddhism and Taoism, and I studied with an Osage/Cherokee medicine teacher.
