I have been especially inspired by witnessing the profound healing my clients experience during EMDR sessions. Intensely painful thoughts and feelings can be healed within a relatively short time period, which many clients find life transforming.

I believe that we are born with everything we need to grow into whole human beings. Due to obstacles, deficiencies, and painful childhood experiences, we grow up feeling flawed or defective in some way, and develop coping styles for self-protection. In intimate relationships, early childhood feelings of inadequacy, fear, and shame are frequently the fuel that ignite our conflicts. Healing lies in unraveling those underlying painful feelings and moving them into the past where they belong.
